Today, Summit Hand Therapy has grown to 6 locations around Davis, Weber, and Box Elder counties. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Aide to join our healthcare team in Farr West, Utah, United States. As a Rehab Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting our physical therapists and occupational therapists in providing high-quality care to our patients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient recovery and well-being in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Apply therapeutic modalities such as heat packs and help patients with exercise equipment
Ensure proper operation of physical therapy equipment, performing basic maintenance and reporting any issues
Manage inventory of physical therapy supplies, including restocking and ordering as needed
Observe and report patient progress during therapy sessions to the supervising therapist
Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation journey
Collaborate with the therapy team to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes
College degree or equivalent education in a related field
Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical environment, preferably in physical or occupational therapy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Knowledge of basic medical terminology and rehabilitation concepts
Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment and techniques
Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic records and inventory management
