Head of Supply Chain and Procurement

Summary - The Procurement Manager leads procurement, purchasing, inventory, and supply chain operations to ensure the timely, cost-effective availability of supplies, equipment, materials, and services. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for vendor management, contract negotiations, cost savings, inventory control, purchasing processes, and team leadership. Lead procurement strategy and daily purchasing operations.

Identify cost-saving opportunities, improve purchasing processes, and strengthen procurement policies and procedures.

Oversee purchasing systems, purchase orders, vendor setup, pricing updates, cost-center allocation, and invoice coordination.

Partner with Finance and internal departments to manage budgets, spending, reporting, and purchasing requirements.

Monitor vendor performance, supply availability, market trends, and potential supply chain disruptions.

Provide oversight of inventory control, shipping and receiving, materials storage, and inventory accuracy.

Maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing shortages, excess inventory, waste, and unnecessary costs.

Develop SOPs, reporting, and performance metrics to improve efficiency, accountability, and cost control.

Lead, coach, and develop procurement and materials team members while managing workflow, priorities, and performance.

Support centralized purchasing and standardization initiatives across the organization.

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
