Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Jenison that are seeking Logistics Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire supply chain, from raw material acquisition to finished product delivery.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping, customs, and safety regulations.
• Utilize data analytics to identify areas for improvement and drive decision-making.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for logistics functions
• Strong understanding of transportation regulations, import/export procedures, and customs compliance
• Demonstrated ability to optimize logistics processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD) preferred

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)
• Project management experience
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
