As a Security Officer Armed Security Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Professional supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and dependable support while representing Allied Universal's caring, reliable, team-focused culture with integrity.
Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and public health facility personnel while carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of public health facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, using appropriate armed response protocols when required.
Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership, law enforcement, and Allied Universal supervision as appropriate.
Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
