What You ll Do

Perform adult cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG and valve repair/replacement
Conduct general thoracic surgeries, including VATS decortication and lung biopsies
Manage ICU care for high-risk patients, including Impella procedures and medical stabilization
Support structural heart procedures in hybrid and cath lab environments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document procedures efficiently using EPIC EMR system
Participate in a team-focused environment, supporting the hospital s cardiac care units
What You Need
Required

Active medical license in Kentucky or ability to obtain
Significant experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
Skills in ICU management of critically ill patients
Ability to perform complex procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, and thoracic interventions
Preferred

Board certification in surgery or cardiothoracic surgery
Experience with hybrid OR procedures and advanced hemodynamic support
