Head of Product Design - Remote (m/w/d)

Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler Arizona, San Jose and San Diego California, Wilton Connecticut, and Hillsboro Oregon.

Identify areas for growth and drive product definition, design and development, customer engagement and roadmap extensions

Acquire deep customer knowledge. Interact with customers to gain understanding of their technical requirements and effectively translate these requirements into the product roadmap and engagement strategies

Deliver product requirement documents with business cases and market feasibility and validation plans

Define feature priorities and decide detailed release scope working with the R&D, product engineering, quality assurance and project management

Evaluate the financial aspects of product development such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections

Develop and execute product business plan by analyzing business development opportunities and monitoring market trends. Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure sales and profitability of our products

Define product rollout and customer engagement plans working with product engineering and account teams

Work with product engineering to develop comprehensive application flow and BKMs to support the flow

Be an expert with respect to the competition including competitive analysis and positioning. Collaborates cross-functionally on competitive selling, pricing, market development and field solutions

Drive and develop use cases, marketing materials, sale collaterals and market communication plans including press releases, launch materials, customer presentations, and sales training materials

Formulate, direct and coordinate market communication activities and policies to promote our products through various channels

Customer visits and meetings with up to 20% travel

S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Physical Sciences or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in semiconductor industry
• Experience working with semiconductor customers worldwide
• Experience in leading cross functional teams in global operations
• Have strong customer focus and broad industry connections

Own customers. Be a customer expert and advocate.

Ability to develop strong relationships with engineering, sales and field support organizations

Attention to details to ensure clear product definition and performance to market plan

This position is located on-site in San Jose, California ( Change the location if needed ). Important to insert additional onsite language specific to the role: i.e., inspection, specific training and supervision, etc.)

A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.

Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
