Task Force Operations Manager
Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group is based in Provo, Utah and is a nationally recognized, award-winning operator of premium-brand, select service, and extended-stay hotels, and one of a few third-party operators approved by Marriott and Hilton.
The Task Force Operations Manager travels to various hotel locations, as assigned, to provide support for designated departments such as Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering.
Travels to assigned hotels to temporarily manage and oversee the assigned department.
Oversees the day-to-day operations of a designated department and leads the team to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
Ensures smooth operation of daily department activities, adhering to organizational standards and brand expectations.
Collaborates with hotel leadership to resolve operational challenges and provides recommendations for long-term improvements.
Maintains consistent communication with hotel leadership to report on departmental progress, concerns, and accomplishments.
Leads and manages department-specific projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Trains and motivates Team Members, ensuring high levels of team performance and morale.
Conducts department Team Member performance appraisals where applicable.
Covers shifts in assigned department, as needed.
Maintains open and effective communication with team members and management.
Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent in a related field.

A minimum three (3) years of experience in the hotel management field is required.
A minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in the hotel management field required.
Hilton or Marriott brand experience.
While a portion of the time may involve performing tasks similar to those of direct reports, the primary responsibilities are related to management and coordination. Analyzes and resolves issues, establishes work methods, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains productivity. Uses judgment within established procedures and policies to make appropriate decisions and take necessary actions.

This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions, as well as, knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices. Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
Computer proficiency in Google platforms, Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.
Excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Cash handling skills (the ability to count currency, make and count back change).
Ability to adjust effectively to evolving work environments and shifting customer (internal/external) requirements.

Travel Requirements
~100% travel required.

Specifically, for long distances or moving from one work site to another often.
Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion.
Picking, pinching, typing, or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
Required to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, extensive reading or visual inspections.
