Job Summary:

A Telemetry Registered Nurse located in Alexandria, Louisiana, is sought to provide specialized cardiac and telemetry care. This position involves nightshift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and requires candidates to bring their nursing licenses on the first day of employment. The assigned units care for cardiac and telemetry patients, with a focus on delivering comprehensive nursing services.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred); at least 0 years of related nursing experience; BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; RN License in state of employment or compact

Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty (preferred)

Float: Float rotation may be required

Additional Information: The unit involves caring for cardiac and telemetry patients. Temp to permanent employment is a possibility. Candidates will be responsible for providing routine and complex nursing care, assessing patient needs, managing contingencies, administering medications and treatments, and patient education. Newly hired experienced RNs must attend orientation within the first 30 days, with precepted training and competency validations consistent with organizational standards.
