MIG Welder | Welding | Fabrication

Hourly pay range is $33-40/hr. (Seeking an experienced TIG welder/fabricator for precision stainless steel and aluminum work. We're a custom fabrication shop producing components and assemblies from customer drawings, including vacuum chambers and other work requiring clean, accurate, leak-tight welds.We're looking for someone who can work independently, interpret detailed fabrication drawings, and carry a job through fit-up and welding with minimal supervision.Responsibilities:TIG weld stainless steel and aluminum components and assembliesRead and interpret drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and weld requirementsIndependently lay out, fit, and assemble parts before weldingControl distortion and maintain dimensional accuracy throughout fabricationProduce consistent, high-quality welds appropriate to the applicationCoordinate with the operations manager on fabrication requirements and job progressRequired experience:5+ years of relevant TIG welding and fabrication experienceStrong stainless steel TIG welding skills and experience with aluminumAbility to fit and weld precision assemblies from drawingsStrong attention to weld quality, cleanliness, and dimensional accuracyAbility to work independently in a custom fabrication/job-shop environmentPreferred experience:Vacuum chambers, pressure vessels, or other leak-tight assembliesSemiconductor, aerospace, or precision equipment fabricationPurging/back-purging and distortion control on stainless steel assembliesTrillium Technical has been recruiting and placing Engineering professionals for over 30 years.
