Nursing - Travel L&D RN

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery, Bozeman, Montana, United States. Travel assignment starting 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,521-$2,621 per week. Shift: Rotating. Setting: Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit. This traveling role requires collaboration with the care team to provide patient- and family-centered care in a high‑acuity obstetric environment.

Contract duration: Shift: Rotating

Hospital-based labor and delivery unit

Circulate during labor and delivery and be willing to float to Mother Baby and care for newborns (couplets), and to other units as safety needs dictate

Plan and implement patient and family education related to labor, delivery, newborn care, and lactation support as appropriate

Assess patient needs, identify diagnoses or issues, develop an individualized plan of care, and implement interventions to achieve expected outcomes

Monitor fetal status and respond to obstetric emergencies in collaboration with the health care team; Document care, evaluate outcomes, participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice, and provide leadership within the professional practice setting

Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) active

Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN-approved course) (Not required if a Lactation RN)

Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) recertification every 2 years

American Heart Association ACLS (Not required if a Lactation RN)

Competence in and willingness to practice modified primary nursing

If Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC)

Preferred: One year of labor and delivery experience

Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced obstetric setting and to float as needed
