As a Security Officer Entry Point in Nicholasville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, helping to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, verifying access permissions, and supporting security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, process visitor access, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site leadership and/or emergency contacts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and assisting with appropriate emergency response activities.
Help to deter unauthorized entry, theft, and/or policy violations by maintaining awareness of facility traffic, screening deliveries and personnel as directed, and communicating clearly with drivers, staff, and guests.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting maintenance issues, security-related concerns, and/or operational disruptions that could affect the location.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
