Carrying out thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic interventions, and crafting individualized care strategies
Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or autonomously based on appropriate credentials
Prescribing medications and therapies according to the scope of practice
Engaging in patient follow-up and management of chronic health issues
Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated, holistic care
Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Virginia
National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
Exceptional clinical judgment combined with a compassionate approach to patient care
Outstanding verbal and written communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Proficiency in EHR systems and comfort in utilizing telehealth platforms
