Responsibilities:

Demonstrate cooking techniques such as prepping, roasting, broiling, braising, sauting, and grilling.

Responsible for preparing sauces, marinating proteins, and assembling complex dishes tailored for airline service.

Create products in terms of freshness, taste, and consistency to the specification of the airline and DO & CO's standards.

Supervise supply-chain systems by controlling the timing of food production flow and processing to avoid delays.

Notify the Chef/Sous Chef of any shortages or discrepancies in products or ingredients.

Supports the training and supervision of Line Cook 1 employees, ensuring adherence to airline catering standards and procedures.

Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years cooking experience.

Proactive and organized approach to duties.

Capability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.

Accurately monitor wastage.

Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.

Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.

Competitive pay: $19.75 - $22.88 /hr.
