As a FiRE+iCE Grill Cook, you are not cooking behind the scenes. You are right in the middle of the action. Our grill is the heart of the restaurant, and Grill Cooks bring the FiRE+iCE experience to life through great food, personality, speed, and showmanship.

And yes, you get tips too! This is a tipped position, so bringing great energy and creating memorable guest experiences can mean extra money in your pocket.

No two Grill Cooks bring the experience to life in exactly the same way. Some are big entertainers, some are great conversationalists, and some develop their own signature style at the grill. What matters is that you connect with guests, keep the energy up, and make their experience memorable.

Guest Interaction & Entertainment

• Welcome every guest to the grill with energy, personality, and a smile.
• Make the grill experience your own while staying true to the FiRE+iCE brand.
• Engage with guests in a way that feels natural to you, whether through conversation, humor, spatula tricks, food flips, singing, the Wave, grill shows, birthday celebrations, or your own style of entertainment.
• Look for opportunities to create memorable moments rather than simply cooking the meal.
• Read the crowd and adjust your approach. Some guests want a show, some want conversation, and some simply want great food served with positive energy.
• Make every guest feel acknowledged, even during busy periods.

Cooking & Service Excellence

• Cook multiple customized meals at once on our signature open grill while maintaining quality, accuracy, and presentation.
• Work with a sense of urgency to keep the grill moving and complete meals in approximately 8 minutes.
• Communicate with guests about their meal and ingredients while their food is being prepared.
• Identify guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions and follow all FiRE+iCE allergy procedures.
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, temperature, and safety standards at all times.
• Return each finished meal to the correct guest with a friendly send-off.
• Keep the grill, counters, tools, and surrounding work area clean, organized, and ready for the next guests.
• Work closely with fellow Grill Cooks, servers, managers, and kitchen team members to provide a smooth guest experience.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for people who can cook and connect with guests. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where your personality is part of the experience.

• Previous cooking or fast-paced kitchen experience is preferred, but we will train the right person.
• Outgoing personality with strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English with guests and team members is required.
• Additional language skills are a plus.
• Comfortable entertaining and interacting with guests while cooking.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized while cooking several meals at the same time.
• Ability to remain energetic, positive, and composed during high-volume shifts.
• Strong attention to food safety, cleanliness, and detail.
• Dependable and able to work well as part of a team.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
