TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37076!

Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 8-Week Assignment | Projected Start: 07/27/2026
Provide direct patient care on a Progressive Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 on days and 1:5–1:6 on nights
Manage and monitor cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, and peritoneal dialysis
Operate and troubleshoot equipment including BiPAPs, high-flow O2, Vapotherm, Alaris pumps, and wound vacs in conjunction with wound care
Perform and assist with unit procedures including peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, Dobhoff/NG tube insertions, and central line dressing changes
Conduct hourly rounding on day shift, maintain AIDET communication standards, and keep communication boards current
Document patient care using Meditech and participate in self-scheduling with every-other-weekend requirement; may float between PCU units or to med-surg floors
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of PCU or comparable experience
Peritoneal dialysis experience
Experience with stroke care and post-cardiac catheterization care
Collaborative, family-like culture on the PCU with strong teamwork and tech support — most travelers choose to extend after their first assignment on this unit
