Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud-scale FPGA build automation, is seeking a Silicon Validation Engineer to join their team. As a Silicon Validation Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Systems and Automation department supporting FPGA tool data extraction and automation projects. Job Title: Silicon Validation Engineer

Location: Redmond, WA - Remote

FPGA EDA Tools - Vivado/AMD or Quartus/Altera - 3+ years

Proficiency in Python - 3+ years

Proficiency in TCL for FPGA EDA Automation - 3+ years

Develop and maintain automated scripts for extracting metrics from FPGA implementation tools such as Vivado and Quartus.

Automate the collection of timing, utilization, and quality metrics to support large-scale FPGA build processes.

Integrate extracted data into existing data pipelines and tooling for analysis and reporting.

Support and modify FPGA constraint and automation scripts to ensure reliable metric generation.

Collaborate with internal teams and vendor engineers to troubleshoot flow issues and improve automation workflows.

Proficiency in FPGA EDA tools: Strong scripting skills in Python, with at least 3 years of hands‑on experience.

Expertise in TCL scripting for FPGA automation, with 3+ years of experience.

Deep understanding of FPGA implementation flows, timing, and utilization metrics.

Experience working with large FPGA infrastructures and automation workflows.
