Financial Leadership:
Assist in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial goals.
Monitor expenditures, labor usage, and supply inventories to maximize efficiency and cost control.
Maintain accurate stock levels and control cost-per-room metrics for housekeeping and laundry operations.
Perform room and public area inspections to ensure standards of cleanliness, condition, and presentation are met.
Promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints, ensuring complete satisfaction.
Order housekeeping and laundry supplies and equipment efficiently to reduce waste and support eco-friendly practices.
Know and follow all fire and emergency response procedures, including the use of the fire panel and evacuation processes.
proper lifting techniques, minimizing tripping hazards, correct use of cleaning chemicals).
Maintain a professional appearance in line with Maya Hotels Grooming Policy - a smile is part of the uniform .
Adhere to all Maya Hotels policies, procedures, and Code of Ethics.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience of housekeeping leadership, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
Willingly to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with hotel staff.
Must be able to navigate guest rooms and back-of-house areas safely and efficiently.
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor areas as needed.
