Lab Courier- Temporary

LabCorp is seeking a Courier to join our team in Mobile, AL. The route covers client sites in Mobile, Saraland, BayMinette, Daphne, Fairhope, and Foley. Work schedule: Monday– Friday 3:30pm– 12:30pm, with overtime pay for holidays.

Job Responsibilities Load all necessary supplies needed for daily pickups

Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner

Deliver all daily pickups to the branch at the end of the shift

Handle all specimens and lab samples safely and efficiently

Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws

Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups

Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pickups as needed

Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: No education or experience required

Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

1 year or more of driver or courier experience

1 year or more of customer service experience

Additional Job Standards Very punctual with strong time‑management skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to problem‑solve customer issues

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record

Be at least 21 years old

Vehicle Policy A company vehicle will be provided for the route. For an additional $125 per month, the vehicle may be taken home for personal use.
