Caregivers in Lutheran Hospital’s Emergency Department provide care to all patient populations, ranging from infants to geriatrics, and ensure that each patient’s visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. As an RN on this team, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. In this role, you will interact directly with patients and their families, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.

Provide direct nursing care.

Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.

Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.

Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

with rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)

One year of current acute care RN experience and/or Emergency Department (ED) experience or licensed military RN experience

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC - adult) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC - pediatric) upon hire or within 24 months of hire

Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
