Electrical Engineer (Sr Electrical Engr)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred, but must be obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. As an Electrical Engineer (Sr Electrical Engr) for the Torpedo Systems Group, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for applying principles and techniques of electrical engineering to develop, test, and implement electrical components, equipment, and systems. The role involves participating in requirements analysis, design, integration, and verification processes, as well as supporting technical reviews and root cause analysis. The Electrical Engineer works within defined processes and collaborates with project leaders, program managers, and external customers.

Experience in application of electrical engineering processes, concepts, principles, and theories

Proficient with electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed circuit analysis/design

Creative thinker committed to staying ahead of technology trends, with strong background in test and troubleshooting

Design and develop electrical schematics, circuit boards, and system architectures

Perform electrical analysis including power, signal integrity, and thermal analysis

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and systems engineers

Perform lab testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of electrical hardware

Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)

This position is fully on-site with the possibility to flex in the future. While on-site, you will be a part of the Canonsburg, PA facility
