Job Title: CNC Operator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing facility. The role involves operating a cell comprising three different machines, including a combination of mills, lathes, CNC saws, or broaches. You will collaborate with department members to ensure the availability of raw materials necessary for production and perform minor quality control on finished parts, including first-piece inspections, using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Additionally, you may be required to conduct 1-3 setups per shift, with support available from team leaders if needed.

Operate and manage a cell consisting of mills, lathes, CNC saws, or broaches.

Collaborate with department members to secure necessary raw materials for production.

Conduct minor quality control on finished parts and perform first-piece inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Perform 1-3 setups per shift with team leader support when necessary.

2+ years of CNC machining experience with mills or lathes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Michigan City, IN.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
