Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.

Process billing information and collect payments as required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

California state‑issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). (An application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the license requirement.)

One year or more of experience as a phlebotomist.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment and to work under minimal supervision.

Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible for the 401(k) plan. Incentive Program Phlebotomists may be eligible to participate in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Pay $23.00 – $33.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
