CNC Production Machinist - 2nd or 3rd Shift

CNC Operator Join a leading manufacturer of precision-formed powertrain components in the automotive and industrial sectors. We are rapidly expanding and need CNC operators for the 2nd and 3rd shifts to meet our production demands. You will work with 49 CNC machines, producing between 500 and 1,100 parts per shift. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for one to four weeks. Enjoy a 5% shift premium when you move to the 2nd or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities Operate CNC machines efficiently during assigned shifts.

Produce between 500 and 1,100 parts per shift.

Assist with offsets and changeovers.

Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure precision.

Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Essential Skills Minimum of 6 months CNC operating experience, preferably with lathe.

Experience in an automotive setting or high-volume production.

Proficient in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

Familiarity with PLEX software.

Capability to stand for the majority of the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of CMM is advantageous.

Experience with assisting other operators or machinists is preferred.

Strong coachability and positive attitude are essential.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Macomb, MI.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
