This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a part of one of the leading companies in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and development of various structural and commercial steel construction projects. As a Permanent Design Engineer, you will be expected to:

Design and develop complex structural systems for commercial steel construction projects, ensuring that all designs adhere to required specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals on project design and implementation.

Use advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed structural designs and plans.

Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure the construction process aligns with the design plans and specifications.

Provide technical advice to project teams, offering innovative solutions to design challenges.

Prepare reports and presentations to communicate design concepts, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.

Manage project resources and timelines, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically in structural and commercial steel construction.

Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering design tools.

A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
