Head of Recruiting & HR
Specialized Recruiting Group - Charlotte, NC
A leading national homebuilder is engaged in the construction and sale of high‑quality homes designed for entry‑level and first‑time move‑up buyers. The organization also provides mortgage financing and title services through its affiliated subsidiaries.
The company is currently seeking a Division Human Resources Manager . The right candidate will handle all aspects of Human Resources, including guiding employees through the onboarding process and serving as a liaison between corporate leadership and the division.
Ensure all HR regulations are followed
Partner with managers to post open positions, review applications, and support recruiting processes
Conduct new‑hire processing and coordinate new employee setup with Corporate IT
Facilitate new‑hire orientation and onboarding activities, both in person and virtually via Microsoft Teams
Assist with division payroll, including reviewing, correcting, and obtaining approval of employee timesheets
Process salary increases, bonuses, commissions, transfers, promotions, and terminations
Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns and escalate issues to corporate HR leadership as needed
Assist managers in understanding company policies related to management responsibilities
Support training initiatives
Plan and coordinate employee engagement events and initiatives
Answer employee questions regarding benefits and HR policies
Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to support customers and strengthen the organization’s reputation and profitability
Three to five years of related experience and/or training
Ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency with MS Office and email
Previous experience with ATS and HRIS platforms required; Taleo and/or PeopleSoft preferred
