The Company is in search of a Chief Technology Officer with a strong product focus to lead the development of a cutting-edge data platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical architecture of the data platform, including its core infrastructure and consumer app architecture. This role demands a hands-on leader who has a proven track record in building and shipping data products that drive revenue. The CTO will also be tasked with establishing engineering standards, leading the engineering team, and ensuring the platform is secure, compliant, and ready for enterprise-grade commercial products.
Applicants for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior technical leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern data stacks and a history of hiring and nurturing senior engineering talent. A strong background in data governance, security, and compliance, particularly in relation to SOC 2 and GDPR, is essential. The role requires a leader who is not only technically proficient but also adept at making product and commercial trade-offs. Experience in AI, mobile, and data products, as well as a genuine interest in Bitcoin, is highly valued. The CTO will be expected to be the first engineering hire and the final decision-maker on architectural matters, with a focus on shipping code and driving the company's technology forward.
