Shop Welder - FULL TIME

AWS D1.5 certification preferred, or the practical field knowledge to obtain certificates.Knowledge of construction site best practices and safety procedure.ResponsibilitiesOperate angle grinders and other small tools to prepare parts for welding.Read and interpret standard welding notations.Select proper materials, measure and cut to specifications.Field - Field install welds, including weld pile, bearings, SIP decking and other bridge structural elements.Shop – Fabricate and repair buckets, blades, trench boxes, vehicle parts, and specialized tools.Select proper fillers for jobs based on previous experience or project instructions.Coordinate with field and/or shop for required schedule of repairs.Operator welding truck and maintains the materials, tools and equipment on the truck.Job Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundLocation: Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.Benefits: Competitive Salary, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with Company Match and Company Contribution, Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.Applicants must be 18 years of age and currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis in order to be considered.For this role the base hourly range is $20.00-$35.00.
