Hybrid (Remote), Remote (Remote) Farmers believes in a culture of collaboration, creativity, and innovation, which thrives when we have the ability to work flexibly in a virtual setting as well as the opportunity to be together in person. Our hybrid work environment combines the best of both worlds with at least three (3) days in office and up to two (2) days virtual for employees who live within fifty (50) miles of a Farmers corporate office. The Copywriter is responsible for concepting, writing, and editing direct-response and marketing copy across multiple formats, including ads, email, direct mail, landing pages, social media, websites, and sales materials. This role supports both B2C and B2B initiatives, partnering closely with designers and cross-functional teams to develop effective, on-brand campaigns that meet client goals. This position contributes to creative concepting, ensures adherence to brand voice and legal guidelines, and brings strong familiarity with digital media and advertising. Analyzes performance metrics and support testing to optimize creative effectiveness and capture actionable learnings.

Consult with clients and internal stakeholders to scope content needs and clarify business objectives across B2C, B2B, and B2B2C/agent audiences.

Write, edit, and fact-check marketing and advertising copy across channels, ensuring accuracy, legal compliance, and adherence to brand or agent voice guidelines.

Analyze campaign and business performance reports to optimize creative effectiveness and inform future copy approaches.

Support digital testing initiatives, applying learnings from performance data to continuously improve messaging and results.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred.

5+ years' experience creating performance advertising and marketing copy for an agency, media company, or national brand. Experience and successful track record of collaborating in cross-functional organizations and within creative teams (designers, agencies). A portfolio demonstrating your skills in direct response marketing and advertising copywriting is required.

Job is performed in-person at a Farmers office or virtually at an approved alternative work location. Normal and customary distractions include background noise produced by office equipment and chatter among people, as well as interruptions. Frequently sits for prolonged periods of time, up to a full shift. Occasionally moves, pushes, pulls, lifts, carries, and/or places objects or materials weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Frequently uses shoulders, arms, hands, and fingers to manipulate equipment, tools, and objects necessary to perform job duties. Frequently performs fine motor tasks such as typing, mousing, or writing, up to a full shift. Jobs in this category require rare, if any, travel.
