Position Summary The Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats residents with communication, cognitive-linguistic, voice, and swallowing disorders. The SLP develops individualized treatment plans that support residents in achieving their functional goals and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, voice and swallowing evaluations.
Educate residents, families, and staff on treatment strategies and communication techniques.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support resident-centered care.
Participate in care planning and team meetings.
Compensation PRN Speech-Language Pathologist $55.00 per hour Qualifications Current Speech-Language Pathology license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
