MEP Project Manager

Our client, a leading Mechanical and Construction company in New Jersey is looking for an MEP Project Manager who can plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. Experience in public work projects is a plus.

Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Exchange and MS Office.

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Institutional HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical trades

Ability to write vendor/subcontractor scope of work

Set-up a workable schedule for job cost control, labor, material, equipment and subcontractors.

Set-up a pre-planning meeting with internal project stakeholders.

Work with Estimating Department on all equipment and material buyouts.

Work with project team to ensure job drawings and change orders are up to date.

Manage financial aspects of the contract, including but not limited to: financial forecasting, manpower forecasting, job cost tracking, preparing monthly billings, Etc.

Interface with subcontractors, engineers, architect, and owners as required.

Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, laborers, vendors and subcontractors.

7+ years MEP construction project management experience

• BS in Mechanical Engineering a plus.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Self-directed with strong time-management skills.
• Exceptional communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
