Full Time Litigation Attorney

Associate AttorneyWe are seeking a 2+ years experienced Associate Attorney to join the Civil Litigation Defense team. This role offers hands on litigation work across insurance defense, trucking, construction, products liability, medical malpractice, and professional liability matters.Roles And ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage a civil litigation defense caseload from inception through trial preparation.Take depositions, argue motions, and prepare cases for trial in state and federal courts.Conduct legal research and analyze matters involving tort, constitutional, and commercial litigation issues.Oversee and manage paralegal and legal assistant work product.Maintain strong client communication while advocating professionally and ethically.QualificationsLicensed and in good standing with the applicable state bar, with no disciplinary issues.2+ years of litigation experience, with civil defense experience preferred.Experience handling commercial transportation, governmental defense, or related litigation matters is preferred.Strong academic credentials and knowledge of legal precedents.Proficiency with Office 365, excellent organization, and communication skills.Compensation And BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with employer match after 12 months.Employer paid life insurance and long term disability coverage.Additional voluntary benefits available through Colonial Life.Full time position with bonus potential.
