Job Summary:

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a facility in an urban setting. This role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency environment, triaging patients, assessing their needs, and providing immediate interventions. The position requires independent action in critical situations and supports the healthcare team in delivering high-quality urgent care.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan (MI) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, at least 2 years of Emergency Room experience, current skills checklist relevant to ER, two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years, travel experience (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience (preferred)

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: The RN will perform nursing assessments, intervene promptly, process physician orders accurately, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and participate in care plan updates. The role demands handling sophisticated equipment and managing a frequently stressful environment.
