About the Role: Physician Consultants Business Solutions in Macon, GA is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their growing team! Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounts on a daily basis
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
Prepare and generate financial reports for management review
Process payroll and ensure timely, accurate employee compensation
Track expenses and assist with budget preparation
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies
Desired Experience: 2-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Hands‑on experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Experience with bank and account reconciliations
Experience processing invoices, payments, and deposits
Experience maintaining accurate financial records
Experience with accounting/bookkeeping software
Experience working in a medical or healthcare office is preferred but not required
Requirements: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting/finance role
Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
