Bartender - The Bar (Seasonal)

Position Overview The Bartender provides an exceptional guest experience by preparing and serving beverages, recommending local restaurants, and maintaining a welcoming bar environment. This role requires strong customer service skills, beverage knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Salary: LTP $9 per hour plus tips

Essential Functions Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain knowledge of drink menus, specials, and seasonal offerings.
Safely and responsibly serve alcohol in compliance with state and local laws.
Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service.
Recommend drink specials and nearby restaurants to enhance the guest experience.
Respond to guest concerns in a professional manner and involve management when appropriate.
Set up and break down the bar each shift, ensuring proper stock of tools, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, equipment, and storage spaces.
Accurately process orders and payments using POS systems.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
Verify guest age by checking IDs.
Monitor guest intoxication levels and practice responsible service techniques.
Work collaboratively with other staff to maintain smooth service.
Communicate inventory needs, low-stock items, and equipment issues to management.
Adheres to established procedures and follows specific directions from management.
Skills And Abilities Strong knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktails.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Physical Demands Be able to lift over 40 pounds from floor to waist unassisted
Be able to push and pull 75 pounds
Be able to complete deep knee squats
Remain standing for prolonged periods
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a cash register/computer and telephone keyboard, reach, squat, bend.
Physical activities that could be used include: balancing, pulling, pushing, standing, climbing, grasping, stooping, crouching, crawling, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion.
Qualifications Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
Must meet legal minimum age requirements for alcohol service.
