Konik is partnering with a leading custom sheet metal fabrication and machining company to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team. This role supports quoting, process development, and production execution across sheet metal, welded assemblies, and machined components. The ideal candidate combines hands‑on fabrication knowledge with strong analytical skills to improve manufacturability, efficiency, and profitability in a high‑performing job shop environment.

Develop and improve manufacturing processes for prototypes and production products, including forming, welding, and assembly.

Support production teams by streamlining workflow, reducing setup time, and implementing practical process improvements.

Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, routings, and labor assumptions to ensure competitive pricing and margin performance.

Review customer drawings, specifications, and models to identify manufacturing risks and cost drivers.

Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including BOMs, routings, and ERP data.

3-5 years of manufacturing engineering or fabrication experience.

Experience with sheet metal processes including forming, welding, and laser cutting.

Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).

Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, problem‑solving, and process optimization.
