Maintenance Tech/Maintenance Person

Maintenance TechnicianEnvironmental Enterprises, Inc. is a specialty environmental management and disposal company. We are dedicated to protecting the environment by providing quality environmental services, recycling options, and waste disposal at competitive rates through innovative technologies and superior technical support.We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at our processing facility, performing tasks such as repairs and routine maintenance. Responsible for applying basic and advanced fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities and equipment are operational. We are looking for team members with attention to detail and willingness to learn!The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance and repair, including electrical experience, tuckpointing and glass block installation. Solid technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude a must.This position is physical in nature and may involve: walking, standing, climbing, bending, lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling. May include working with: chemicals & environmental contaminants, heat & cold in outdoor environments, noise, fumes and mechanical hazards. Attention to safety protocols is a must.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform laboratory analysis on waste sample for such purposes as to determine safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste in accordance with all government regulations and company standard operating procedures.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Perform minor fixes such as repairing doors, routine vehicle maintenance, etc.Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issuesInstall equipmentConduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbsInspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)Report to maintenance manager for more complex issuesQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systemsExperience using hand and electrical toolsAbility to read technical manuals and drawingsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift up to 60 pounds.Environmental Enterprises Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Disabled/VetsMon-Fri 6 AM to 2:30 PM
