JOB DESCRIPTION

Location: HO - Gurgaon

JOB SUMMARY

1. Support the monitoring and management of financial performance of key business initiatives across all lines of business.
2. Closely collaborate with reinsurers and internal stakeholders to support product development, reinsurance treaty finalization, performance monitoring and regulatory compliance.
3. Validate data, prepare dashboards, perform governance, highlight key messages and track metrics as per strategy for Group Credit Life business.
4. Plays a key part in ensuring optimal risk transfer, capital efficiency, and informed senior management decision‑making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Data Analysis & Business Review

Compile and validate data for experience analysis.

Prepare dashboards, MIS reports, and presentations for internal committees and senior management.

Track key metrics such as claims, recoveries, issuance etc. on monthly basis.

2. Reinsurance Strategy & Stakeholder Management

Assist in discussions with domestic and international reinsurers about new product ideas and changes to existing reinsurance arrangements.

Liaise with internal stakeholders (Products, Actuarial, Underwriting, Finance etc.) for reinsurance treaty finalization and amendments.

Address queries of various internal stakeholders on treaty arrangements and coverages.

3. Risk, Retention & Capital Management

Assist in evaluating optimal retention limits aligned with risk appetite and business strategy.

Track key parameters of major reinsurance relationships to ensure appropriate risk diversification.

4. Performance Management, Governance & Regulatory Reporting

Assess post-launch performance of business initiatives/ campaigns; identify areas requiring strengthening.

Perform governance checks, exception tracking and rule validation within new Group Automation System.

Prepare regulatory submissions in compliance with IRDAI regulations.

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of Life Insurance and Reinsurance concepts.

Analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.

System Knowledge

Must - MS Office, proficient in MS excel (Lookups, pivots etc.)

DESIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in Life Insurance, Actuarial or Reinsurance roles.

Basic understanding of different functions in Life Insurance industry.

Basic understanding of various Life Insurance products.
