AECOM is actively seeking a talented Project Architect for immediate employment in our Virginia Beach office. This position will work on a variety of interesting projects within the Federal sector, private, and public safety.
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture plus six (6) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
An Architecture license is required for this position, (preferably in VA with NCARB).
Experience in DoD and Federal Government related projects , UFCs, and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and ten (10) years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
Experience in public safety-related projects such as police facilities, emergency operation centers, emergency communication centers, and training facilities.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suites, or other related graphic software.
Relocation is not available for this position.
