Head of Human Resources and Facility Management

Are you a seasoned facilities leader with a passion for operational excellence and safety?

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Facilities Manager to lead the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of their manufacturing and office facilities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in facilities management, maintenance operations, capital projects, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS). In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting business operations through strategic planning, infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

7+ years of progressive facilities management experience, preferably within a manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or production environment

• Demonstrated success leading Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and maintaining regulatory compliance
• Proven experience managing facility renovations, infrastructure upgrades, and capital improvement projects
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, security, and other critical building systems
• Experience negotiating vendor agreements and managing service contracts
• Effective leadership skills with experience developing, mentoring, and managing teams
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Thorough understanding of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental and safety regulations
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred

Direct and oversee daily facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance programs, and building systems management
Develop and execute long-term facility plans focused on growth, modernization, and space optimization
Lead construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
Manage facility budgets, capital expenditures, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective operations
Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulatory requirements
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability initiatives
Supervise internal maintenance personnel and third-party contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and safe practices
Foster a strong culture of safety through training, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize facility needs and support business objectives
Maintain accurate facility records, permits, compliance documentation, and maintenance reports
