JOB TYPE: W2 Full Time Ongoing 12-month ongoing Contract
LOCATION: Lafayette, IN
JOB SUMMARY FOR HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION:
Seeking HR Generalist for a manufacturing client based out of Lafayette, IN.
Onsite M-F 5days/week first shift flexible on morning start time
Pay Range: $20.24-$22.07hr
RESPONSIBILITY FOR HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION:
Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems.
Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment.
Plan and support new hire orientation.
Support HR manager with gathering necessary documents and paperwork for refereeing disputes and administering disciplinary procedures.
Supporting communications team by interviewing employees for communication materials
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required.
2-4 years customer service-related experience required.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATION:
Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices (i.e., equal employment opportunity and affirmative action).
Knowledge of Workday.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additional Technical Skills
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with Workday
Familiarity with HR Policy and Labor Law
Data analysis
Soft Skills
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
