Austin Brockenbrough & Associates, LLC, a Stratus Team company based in Richmond, Virginia, is a renowned multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural firm.
We are seeking an Architectural Department Manager who is ambitious and ready to drive our company’s success!
This role offers the chance to lead a team of talented professionals on a variety of innovative projects, ranging from small to medium in scale, across both single and multi-disciplined efforts. Responsibilities Manage architectural team of project architects and architectural designers.
Coordinate with Civic Department Leader to develop department initiatives to control quality, risk, and delivery of technical aspects of produced work.
Coordinate within-house multi-disciplinary design teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.
Develop scope of work and proposals for small to medium size projects.
Oversee multiple projects and clients at a time.
Possess an understanding of local building codes and zoning regulations.
Prioritize team for multiple clients and projects and deliverables.
Oversight and assistance with the development of plans and specifications for new construction projects, remodeling existing structures, or improving the functionality of existing space.
Create, manage, and produce projects for a wide range of market sectors.
Collaborating with firm leadership, marketing, and operations.
Experience with CPSM and DEB is a bonus
