Prep/Dish

Bodega Taqueria Y Tequila is seeking a dynamic and experienced Prep/Dish to join our team. As a Prep/Dish you will prepare and execute all aspects of the food production for the restaurant, including food preparation according to the description and standard recipient set forth by the company. In addition, you will adhere to all sanitation practices and maintain an organized and functional working area. This position requires a strong passion for food, hospitality, and a keen eye for detail. Coordinate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.

Assist team members as needed to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food.

Keep managers informed of any issues or challenges encountered during daily operations and work together to find timely solutions.

Address any issues or concerns related to food quality promptly and effectively.

Prepare food according to standard recipes.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all kitchen areas.

Prepare food items for the line as described by branded recipes and standards.

Set up station with predetermined required items to service the restaurant.

Operate a clean, high-functioning dishwashing station and handle equipment as described.

Perform set up duties to include side stations, storage areas and food handling areas.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.

Oversee food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and preparation of food items.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.

Basic math and cash handling skills.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Any associate who incurs any type of injury is required to report immediately to their immediate supervisor or the Security Officer on duty.

Language Requirements:

Ability to speak English clearly, distinctly, and cordially with staff and vendors.
