Salary: $26 - $32 per hour

A bit about us: Our client, a growing shipping and logistics company, is seeking an experienced Customs Entry Writer to support import operations and ensure timely, accurate customs clearance for international shipments. The ideal candidate has experience within freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or international logistics, along with strong attention to detail and knowledge of import regulations.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Customs Entry Writer to join our team in the Manufacturing Industry. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth and legal operations of our international trade activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, compiling and managing all documentation and records required to clear goods through the United States Customs Service (USCS), including negotiating with, and presenting declarations to, foreign and domestic customs officials.

As a Permanent Customs Entry Writer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure our company\'s compliance with customs regulations. Handling FDA (PGA) requirements and ensuring all data is accurately captured and reported.

Maintaining and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent and efficient operations.

Providing exceptional customer service, addressing and resolving any issues or complaints promptly.

Collaborating with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely clearance and delivery of goods.

Organizing and maintaining records of all customs-related documents.

Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.

Proficiency in using computer applications related to the job, such as Microsoft Office Suite and customs declaration software.

A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
