Part Time Carer

As a Direct Care Worker - Part Time at KeystoneCare, you'll play a critical role in supporting individuals who are frail, ill, or immobile. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and housekeeping, while also providing companionship and emotional support.

Success in this role requires a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for your clients. Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.

Administering prescribed medications and monitoring clients' conditions.

Providing companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their mental wellbeing.

Documenting care activities and observations accurately.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English.

Completion of a recognized training program for direct care workers or equivalent experience.

Ability to follow instructions and document care services accurately.

Proof of Influenza (Flu) Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious exemption.

10 to $14 per hour
