Overview
Join our team at Lahser Hills Care Center! Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
Compensation
You will earn: $33.90 per hour on afternoon shifts!
Starting Wage: $29.00 per hour
Plus $3.40 per hour hero pay
Plus $1.25 per hour Shift Premium for Afternoon Shifts

8 hour shifts - all shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
Full time or part time (Afternoon Shifts)
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis
Administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition
Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients
Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families, and visitors, creating a positive, healthy environment to heal and thrive
Oversee the Nurse Aide team, providing direction & assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations
Qualifications
Current license to practice as Practical Nurse or LPN in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher
High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care
Team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done
