1st Shift Temporary Packer IMMEDIATE START

Meridian Adhesives Group is a rapidly growing, full service global adhesive solutions provider, specializing in adhesive technologies used in electronics, industrial, and infrastructure applications. This role is responsible for handling and inspecting finished products for defects and packing them into cases of various sizes for shipment or storage. Packagers will assist Batch Makers in pulling product from machines and properly placing them to the correct boxes for shipping.
Maintain assigned equipment by performing required pre-operational, in process and post batch inspections. Immediately report any possibilities of contamination, needed mechanical repair or safety issues to the Production Supervisor.
Squeeze cartridges to assure they are good to ship
Check product for quality and discard damaged product
Housekeeping

Maintain a clean and safe work area, facility and equipment by following routine housekeeping standards.
Properly store all properly capped, covered or closed operating supplies such as raw materials, drums, totes, etc. in their designated locations before the end of the shift.
Remove empty raw material containers, packages, bags, and sacks before the end of the shift.
Equipment must be kept clean of raw material residue, chemicals and adhesive.
Sweep and mop work areas as needed and at the end of each shift. Return cleaning equipment to assigned area after each use.
Participate in physical inventories and cycle counting.
Participate in safety, loss control, accident, incident and rework investigations, as assigned.
High School diploma or G.Experience in a related field
Mechanical aptitude with practical application skills
Speak and write English clearly and distinctly.
Perform with minimal supervision.
Lifting and carrying materials and supplies, typically weighting 50 pounds or more
Manual dexterity is required to operate tools, machinery, forklifts and controls.
Schedule: 1st Shift 5:00 am-3:30 pm M-Th
Pay: This position has a starting hourly rate of $17.00 per hour. Bonus Pay: Meridian is actively participating in a productivity incentive plan for 2026. Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits
