Neonatologist - Full Time, Faculty Position

Applications are invited for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Neonatology, in the Department of Pediatrics of Albany Medical College , and the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. We are seeking an outstanding board-certified/board-eligible Neonatologist to join a comprehensive clinical program dedicated to the diagnosis, care, and management of infants.
The Division of Neonatology provides patient care in a culturally diverse, family centered 60 bed single/twin room NICU. As a New York State-designated Regional Perinatal Center and the only major academic center in the area, we are the resource for 13,000 deliveries a year in the region. We offer:
Full-service NICU facility
Support from the entire spectrum of Pediatric and Pediatric surgical specialists
High-risk perinatal unit, air and ground transport services to all of northeastern NY
Fellowship program and a High-Risk Infant Follow-up Program
The Division consists of 13 neonatologists and 24 advanced practice providers .
The NICU admits more than 800 infants each year including 250 transfers.
Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology delivers 2200 infants a year with a large cohort of high-risk mothers requiring neonatal services for their infants.

The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital is a children's hospital within a larger academic health system. It is the only Children's Hospital for 80 counties in upstate NY and serves children's and families in southwest VT and Western MA. Faculty and staff can work on diverse, interdisciplinary teams and teach learners at all levels. It has 130 beds, including the 60 bed NICU, 19 bed PICU, and in addition, a pediatric emergency department and behavioral health unit. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology delivers 2200 infants a year with a large cohort of high-risk mothers requiring neonatal services for their infants.
