Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician

Position Overview The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Albany Medical College, within the Albany Med Health System, is recruiting a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician to join the multidisciplinary team serving patients from 25 counties surrounding the Capital District of New York. Responsibilities Provide diagnostic assessments and medical management for patients up to 21 years of age with developmental concerns, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, learning disorders, behavioral health disorders including anxiety, and neonatal follow-up. Partner with pediatric specialists in psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology, and genetics to coordinate care. Develop and lead innovative programs such as a Medical Home for children with ASD, a feeding team, and a fast‑track developmental screening for children under age 5. Candidate Requirements Board certification or board eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Interest in developing innovative programming within the scope of DB practice. Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students. Strong dedication to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care across diverse populations.
