Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician

Job Overview Position: Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician Location: Albany, NY Division: Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Albany Medical College within the Albany Med Health System. Responsibilities Diagnostic assessments and medical management of patients up to 21 years of age with developmental concerns such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, ADHD, learning disorders, behavioral health disorders including anxiety, and neonatal follow‑up. Partner with pediatric practitioners including psychiatry, general pediatrics, neurology, and genetics. Provide innovative programming within the scope of DBP, including participation in a Medical Home for children with ASD, a feeding team, and a fast‑track developmental screening for children under age 5. Teach house staff and medical students. Commit to patient‑centered, high‑quality care across diverse populations. Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Interest in developing innovative DBP programming. Experience or interest in teaching house staff and medical students. Strong dedication to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care across diverse populations. Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary range for Assistant Professor $190,000-$198,000 with incentive bonus opportunity. Robust sign‑on bonus. Relocation assistance.
