Behavior Intervention Specialist

Our mission-driven human services client is seeking a dedicated Behavior Intervention Specialist to support individuals with developmental disabilities through assessment, intervention, and training. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping individuals build skills, improve quality of life, and achieve greater independence through evidence-based behavioral supports.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, highly trained in behavioral or clinical services, and motivated to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide behavioral services including assessments, evaluations, consultations, and interventions
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory requirements
Collaborate with care managers, advocates, and individuals served to design effective behavioral strategies
Deliver education and training related to behavioral, psychological, and support services
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and ongoing evaluations
Support staff and caregivers through guidance, training, and supervision related to behavior plans
Maintain accurate documentation and service records
